PC controlled lights

PC controlled lights using a parallel port and later on USB.

This project was built to make a multi-channel audio controlled light show. 

The project worked using HIGH VOLTAGE so be careful.

Electronics:

The circuit consisted of: PC signal -> opto-isolators -> TRIACs -> 240V bulbs

Software:

The software was a plugin for winamp that allowed the user to select the frequency responce for each bulb.
